Two-time World cup winning skipper MS Dhoni is hailed no less than a demigod all over the world. Mahi’s popularity among his die-hard fans is unbelievable as they can go to any extent to just get a glimpse of the Ranchi stalwart.
After the recently-concluded IPL 2021 auction, Dhoni fans are now even more excited to see the CSK legend back on the field. During last year’s IPL, the 39-year-old had made it clear that he was ‘definitely not’ retiring from the T20 tournament.
Before start of IPL 2021, the Chennai Super Kings captain visited Ranchi’s Dewri Temple Ranchi to seek blessings.
The veteran player has a lot of faith in this temple and often visits the holy place before every important tournament.
Like every year, this year too Dhoni paid a visit to the temple with his childhood friend.
As soon as fans got the news of Dhoni’s arrival, they assembled outside the temple to get a glimpse of their favorite cricketer. Mahi did not disappoint his fans and acknowledged their love as few of them even got a chance to click selfies with the legend.
MS Dhoni will return to action with the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which most likely will be hosted in India across several venues amid Coronavirus pandemic.
Chennai Super Kings had a poor run last season as they could win just 6 out of 14 games and finished at second-last position.
