IPL Auction 2021 Live Updates: Shakib Al Hasan returns to Kolkata Knight Riders for INR 3.2 crore. Bidding begun on Bangladeshi spinner Shakib Al Hasan with his base price is Rs 2 crore.


 KKR started the bid and the Punjab Kings competed with them. Kolkata finally bought Shakib for 3.2 crores.


England all-rounder Moeen Ali entered the auction with a base price of Rs 2 crore. Punjab started the bidding and CSK also competed with them. Chennai eventually won the bid race as they got the English all-rounder for INR 7Cr. Moeen will now don the yellow Yellow jersey for IPL 2021. Another star all-roudner Kedar Jadhav goes unsold, a big upset for the youngster.


Shivam Dubey, who was with RCB in IPL 13, has been acquired by Rajasthan Royals this time for IPL 2021.  RR bought Shivam for Rs 4.4 crores beating SRH, DC and Punjab in bidding war.


RCB started bidding on Australia star batsman Steve Smith. Bidding started at a base price of 2 crores. Smith was acquired by Delhi Capitals for 2.20 crores.


After a fierce bidding war, RCB finally bought Glenn Maxwell for Rs 14.25 crore. Maxwell’s base price was Rs 2 crore. In the last auction, Punjab had bought Maxwell for 10.75 crores. 


Karun Nair was the first player to go under the hammer but went unsold. Alex Hales with a Rs 1.5 crore base price also remained unsold.
